STEVIE   WONDER

His real name is Stephen Judkin. He was born in 1950. He was blind and his family was poor, from childhood he was a treat admirer of Ray Charles, because he too  was black and blind, and a very good musician. When he was five years old, he played the harmonica very well, then he learned to  play the piano.

When he was ten , he played the harmonica in a concert with a famous group called “the miracles”. He was a “one band man” because he played the harmonica, the piano, the drums and the organ, and he sang very well.

At twelve he started recording songs. His first record was “I call it pretty music” then he followed with “fingertips”, this last one was a great success.

He could see through his music, but he was very sad, because he could no see girls. When he was twenty, he married with Syreeta, she was a secretary in his record company, but she wanted to be a singer. They lived for five years.

He recorded “Hotter than July” in memory of Martin Luther king, the black leader killed in 1968, and many famous records like “Song is the key of life”, Music in my heart” and many others.
